BLE Key Modular in its two-part black printed case, the 3.5 mm key jack at the end

BLE Key Modular comes in our two-part case and runs on USB-C. The battery tray with its cell screws on underneath with four screws, and the battery lead is already fitted inside, so adding it needs no soldering. Order the key with the tray, or without it and add the tray later. Keys with the tray ship within mainland Europe.

What it does

  1. 01

    Upgrade without soldering

    Order the battery tray with the key, or add it later. Push out the marked plate in the floor, plug in its lead and screw it on. The case stays closed.

  2. 02

    Long battery life

    The nRF52840 draws only a few milliamps while connected and sleeps after ten idle minutes.

  3. 03

    Made for Longpath

    Streams precisely timed keying over Bluetooth LE to Longpath on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android. The app makes the sidetone.

  4. 04

    Your own key

    Any straight key or iambic paddle with a 3.5 mm stereo plug. Tip is dit, ring is dah, sleeve is ground.

In the box and shipping

Your Morse key or paddle and a USB-C charger are not included. You need the free Longpath app on iPhone, iPad, Mac or Android; for prompting, the free Frame Storyboard app (1.1.0 or later), on the same devices.

Every item is built to order and ships from Munich, Germany. Shipping follows the address you enter at checkout: €5 to Germany, €12 to Europe, €39 to the rest of the world. The United Kingdom is not served. Orders from outside the EU may be charged import duties and taxes by your country's customs; these are paid by the buyer.

Options with a lithium battery ship to mainland Europe only: Germany and the other countries under "Europe".
