Terms of sale

1. Scope and seller
These terms apply to all orders placed in the Ramus Labs Shop at shop.ramuslabs.com. The seller is Tobias Wissmüller, Groschenweg 41g, 81825 München, Germany, email hello+shop@ramuslabs.com (imprint). The contract language is English.
2. Contract
The product pages are not a binding offer. By completing payment on the Stripe checkout page you make a binding offer to buy the selected item. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email, at the latest when we ship the item. We store the contract details; you receive them in the order confirmation.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are final prices in euros. As a small business under § 19 UStG (German VAT Act) we do not charge VAT, so no VAT is shown. Shipping costs are added at checkout and shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; the available payment methods are shown at checkout.
For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, taxes and customs fees of the destination country may apply. They are charged by the carrier or customs and are paid by the buyer.
4. Delivery
Every key is built to order and ships from Munich, Germany, usually within 10 working days after payment, unless the product page says otherwise. We currently do not ship to the United Kingdom. If an item cannot be delivered, we tell you without delay and refund any payment already made.
The item remains our property until it has been paid in full.
5. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer, you have the following right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Tobias Wissmüller, Groschenweg 41g, 81825 München, Germany, email hello+shop@ramuslabs.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

6. Warranty
The statutory warranty rights apply. If something is wrong with your key, write to us first; we will repair or replace it.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
8. Disposal of electrical equipment and batteries
Electrical equipment and batteries must not go in household waste. In Germany you can return them free of charge to municipal collection points and to retailers' collection boxes. Used batteries can also be returned to us.
9. Disputes
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you have your habitual residence.
